Vacation Time

What does everyone want this time of year??  A vacation away from all the snow and cold temps.  Well, I finally got one!  I am SO excited to be somewhere other than home, and the best part is Pete can enjoy it with me even though its his "busy time" of the year.

Not nearly as nice, but its still a vacation.  We are in St. Cloud.  Pete is working up here at a client so I thought I would tag along.  I can watch tv, read, surf the web from a different location than usual!  And the BEST part, there is a pool and hot tub here.  Good thing we both brought our swimsuits with!

The life of Jack......

Being home all day I've gotten to see what exactly Jack does ALL day long.  Let me tell you, its not much.  As soon as the alarm goes off and Pete heads to the shower Jack is up on the bed laying right on his pillows!  He picks his head up to give a few goodbye kisses as Pete leaves for work.  Then its back to sleep until I get up. 

After going out for his morning pee, its back to napping.  Usually its on the couch just like this.

After a few hours of sleeping he gets up, streches his legs, and wanders around for a few minutes.  Then he settles down in his bed for another late morning nap.

Once he is up from that nap its back to the couch.  He LOVES sleeping on and/or under the blankets.  If the blankets are on the back of the couch, well then he will just climb up there to sleep!

He then naps the afternoon away.  His excitement of the day is when Madison and Pete get home.  He runs around wanting to play and between the two of them he gets worn out.  Then its back to bed.  He now sleeps on the floor on my side of the bed.  He has always been a "momma's boy" and it drives Pete nuts! :)

We Made It!!

Well, our two weeks of bliss are over (and I'll actually miss them) and now its four months of insane schedules!  Just in January Pete is gone two of the four weeks!  What will I do with all of my free time???

Over the two weeks we actually managed to do quite a few things dispite me being sick for a week.  We attended our first Wild game of the season, managed to go to the casino three times, moved Petes office from the 14th floor down to the 13th floor, and also did quite a bit of sitting around watching tv.  I finally got my revenge when I got ahold of the remote Sunday night, we watched Pretty Woman!  Just what every guy wants to watch the night before he has to go back to work after two weeks off!
