This Christmas is definitely one that we don't want to repeat! We are all doing much better now, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. NOT FUN!
Needless to say we didn't take many pictures.
Charlie got her own set of coasters from Nana & Papa. She always wants to play with the coasters at their house but they are heavy metal, so they go her soft flimsy Mickey Mouse ones. Also she got a Minnie Mouse tooth brush set from my cousin which she loves. She brushes her hair with the toothbrush. I will get some video of it and post it. It's pretty funny!
Madison got an ice cream maker from Santa. Her favorite gift is from Nana, Papa, Uncle Justin, Mimi, & B-Papa. They gave her 2 cooking classes at Way Cool Cooking School. She is there all day today. I'm guessing this will be the first of many classes for her!
Justin and Mimi came to town on Christmas Day. It was good to see them especially as they just got engaged last week! Looking forward to the wedding!!!!!
I'll share with you my favorite picture from the Holidays. It reminded me of one with Madison so here they are side by side.

Manic Monday
Pete had to go to Syracuse on Monday for work. Little did he know that he was going to get a tour of some east coast airports!
One would think that after all the snow we got on Sunday they might have a few delays on Monday morning but getting out of MSP was the easy part, it all went downhill from there.
They were suppose to go from MSP to D.C. and then on to Syracuse. Due to weather in D.C they went from MSP to Pittsburgh to D.C to Boston to Syracuse. They left at 6am Monday morning and finally got to Syracuse at 9:30pm.
Hopefully his flight home today is much easier!!

Family Photos
A few weeks ago we had our pictures taken by Kim Boatman and we just got them back. I've been very anxious to see them. I've saved the best ones for the Christmas card, but here is a sneak peak.
Enjoy!
One Year Stats
Last week Charlie went in for her One year check up. Aside from the shots she did awesome. She is not a fan of being held tight so the doctor could look in her ears, eyes, and mouth but she got over it. She was talkative as usual! I'm sure she could be heard 5 rooms down.
She is a VERY healthy one year old. In fact, she has only been sick once and that was when she had RSV in February. We've been lucky!
Her one year measurements are;
Weight: 30 lbs 99% (Holy cow, right!!!)
Length 32.5 in 99%
Head 19 in 99%
Because she is SO tall her weight is in proportion! That doesn't help when you have to carry her for awhile! She does LOVE to eat! ;)
Some of the things she's doing;
*Talking, talking, and more talking! (With the amount that Charlie and Madison both talk I think we are in for some battles in the coming years)
*Crawling everywhere
*Walks 4-5 steps and then just falls forward
*Plays non-stop all day long.
*Loves tormenting Jack and Madison
*Favorite words are Mom, Daddy, No, Hi, Bye, Jack
*Waves "Hi" and "Bye"
*Gives kisses
*"So Big"
*Gives five
It is so much fun to watch her learn new things every day.
We will see how she is doing when we go back for the 15 month check up.

1st Birthday Party
This weekend we had Charlie's birthday party! It was a blast. She had SO much fun.
I decided to make Charlie a blanket for her birthday as my Mom made mine and I also made one for Madison (but somehow she now has my old one!). So I found the cutest fabric and that was the whole inspiration for the party. It was a Hoot! :)
Woke from her nap all ready to party!
New shoes
I found her shirt on Etsy
Look Whooo's 1 Charlie
Talking with Uncle Justin and thanking him for my Denver coat!
I found an idea on Pinterest for a Minnie Mouse Cozy Coupe and had to try it. With a little help it turned out amazing!
A little too much to drink?!?!
Enjoying her new chair from Grandma Kathy and her
blanket from Mom & Dad.
Madison played her "Happy Birthday" on her clarinet.
"Really, I can eat this?"
Playing with some new toys
I absolutely LOVE this picture. She is growing up too fast! :(
Before we know it she is going to be 2!
The exciting thing is we get to celebrate in Disney next year. Can't wait!

O N E
It is hard to believe that Charlie is 1 today! It just doesn't seem possible. My little girl is growing up WAY too fast.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last year. There are a ton of them and they are in no order what-so-ever!
Enjoy.
