Madison is now 10, ::Major sigh....as that means that next week I'll be 30::
Luckily for us the 10 year old attitude came early. She has had it for a few months now and I am SO ready for it to leave. On the plus side, when the attitude does disappear for mear seconds you can tell she is growing up!
Last weekend I had my first scrapping weekend a.k.a. "Girls Weekend Away" which was a blast and I can't wait for the one this fall! It was hard to leave the girls but after about 10 minutes on the road I was totally okay! (Have I mentioned I SO needed that weekend!) They had a great time with Pete and I think he actually understands my days home a bit more now.
One thing he could never understand was how I could totally forget to eat all day until 3 or 4 when I would be absolutely starving. When your busy, eating is one of the last things you think about. When I got home he told me, "I totally get what you mean by forgetting to eat, I finally remembered to have breakfast around 11 am on Saturday and then by 5 I realized I hadn't eaten anything else!" If that was all that he was willing to admit to, I'm fine with that. I'm sure he realized much more but wasn't wanting to share with me. :):)
It's hard to believe Charlie is going to be 6 months old this month! Time has gone by so quickly. Her personality is coming out so much now. She is absolutely mesmerized by Jack. She will sit and follow him where ever he goes. When he gets close enough to her she loves to pull on his hair. Poor guy just sits and takes it. Once Charlie is mobile she is going to torment him!
