**As you can see from the photo and the stats Charlie is one healthy baby!  As the Doctor stated today, "She is definitely well nourished!"  **



Charlie LOVES to eat!  It typically doesn't matter what it is, she likes it all.  The only thing she didn't take to very well were peaches.  Her favorites right now are bananas and squash.  She barely has the food swallowed before she is opening her mouth for more.  The doctor said we can start finger food so that is up next!  I'll post progress on that. 

Here are some of the things Charlie has been doing so far;

*Sits on her own

*Does not sit still (unless she is sitting by herself on the floor with toys)

*Babbles NON-STOP!

*Started having an aversion to strangers, except for anyone at the doctors office for whatever reason.

*Totally obsessed with anything Madison does.

*Is all about her feet and socks.  She tries everyday to get her socks off and then chews on them.

*Chews on anything she can get her hands on.

*Has 4 teeth and is still drooling non-stop.

*LOVES her jumper.  At times she could very well fly out of it from jumping so fast.  I will try to get video of her and post it.

*Laughs at just about everything.

*Loves playing peek-a-boo.

My goal for the next 6 months is to take more pictures and video.  I take plenty of pictures but I want to try and take more.  Also, we need to start taking more video.  I will start posting some of them.



Catch Up

I know... I know... I know....  It's been awhile since the last post!  To say we have been busy is an understatement, and April was slow compared to what May and June look like.  Some days I am petrified to look at the calendar!  :(

Between soccer on Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/(and some Thursdays), Volleyball on Monday, and Softball on Tuesday/Thursday I look forward to the weekends, which are now full through the end of June as well. 

April went by way to fast, we celebrated my birthday at Treasure Island, spent a day at Mall of America with the other Thelen's while the girls went on rides and then enjoyed a night of swimming and hot tubing afterwards.   We celebrated Pete's birthday with an evening at soccer practice.  Doesn't turning 33 sound fun!  Oh.... and Charlie turned 6 months old.  HOLY CRAP time flies!  It doesn't seem like it was 6 months ago that we were anxiously and impatiently awaiting her arrival.

Charlie goes in next week for her 6 month check-up.  I am curious to see what her stats are this time.  At 4 months old she was the size of a 7 month old and she has grown since then so we'll see!
Here are a few of the things she is doing now (I will put the complete list up when I do her 6 month stats.)

*Sitting on her own
*LOVES bananas, I can't feed her fast enough.
*Plays peek-a-boo with Madison and squeals every time
*babbles NON-STOP.  And I thought Madison was bad, now we have 2 talkers!
*chews on everything in sight
*has 4 teeth on the bottom and the top 2 are just about to come in
